We start with the story, CDC Reacts To Run-Off Results. The Daily Watch news paper in this story reports that the standard Bearer of the Main opposition Congress for Democratic Change, Cllr. Tubman, has warned that the results of the just ended boycotted run-off presidential elections results not pumped. According to him, his party will not credit the results of the November 8 run-off on the basis that the figures announced by the National Elections commission NEC for the ruling Unity Party of incumbent president Ellen Johnson have been overblown.

Rights Group Troubled Over ''Bloody Monday'', is another story in the Daily Watch news paper. The foundation for international Dignity (FIND), a non-profit, nongovernmental human rights group operating in the country says it is troubled over the untimely deaths of some innocent Liberians during a stand-off between the police and partisans of the CDC on November 7. The group expressed the deep sorrow a week following the riot.

According to the New Dawn news paper, CDC Keeps Monrovians In Fear. Parents rushed to schools to pick up their wards, while some schools closed their doors on Monday amidst looming tension, following threats from officials of the Congress for Democratic Change CDC to stage another street protest to press home their demands for a re-run off of the November 8 polls. An atmosphere of uneasy calm pervaded the capital yesterday with nervous residents going about their normal business although uncertain what would happen the next minute.
